Lifetime Warranty
SERGEANT products are designed to perform and endure even as you push the limits. Because we stand behind our products, we have developed a warranty policy to provide you protection in the event of a defect of material, design, or construction.
SERGEANT warranties its products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor damage resulting from misuses or neglect. Warranty does not cover batteries and charging accessories (or damage caused by either). Batteries or damage caused by batteries (i.e. leakage) is not included in the guarantee.
The warranties listed above are valid only in the USA & Canada. For warranty information outside of the United States and Canada please contact us for the specifics.
Warranty exchanges do not cover the cost of shipping and handling.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ITEM QUALIFIES FOR WARRANTY?
SERGEANT evaluates each item based primarily on the following 2 questions.
Is this a true defect? A true manufacturing defect, whether derived from failure of material, design, or construction, will usually manifest itself quickly, and can generally be detected within the first 6 month of use.
Is the item still within its expected lifetime? The lifetime of most apparel and accessories is 2 years but is also dependent on individual use. SERGEANT policy does not cover normal wear and tear.
WHAT DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR WARRANTY?
Over time, all gear is subject to some degree of fading, tearing, piling, snagging, zipper wear, and normal wear and tear. At a certain point even the most rugged and dependable pieces will reach the end of their usable life. Warranty coverage does not extend to accidental damage, misuse, and expected wear and tear.
Warranty coverage is not transferable, and applies only to the original purchaser, or gift recipient. Modifications to any gear, especially to edged items will void any warranty or return consideration.
WHAT IF MY ITEM DOESN'T QUALIFY?
SERGEANT will do what we can to repair any products suffering damage outside of the warranty. SERGEANT wishes we could handle each repair request ourselves, but the size of our company limits our ability to handle a large volume of repairs in a timely fashion. SERGEANT encourages you to therefore seek out a local seamstress or repair company in your community to take care of simple repairs involving seams, rips, and patching.
POSSIBLE OUTCOMES FOR ITEMS QUALIFYING FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE REPAIR
If possible, items will be repaired at no cost.
REPLACE
In cases where SERGEANT is not able to repair an item, or the cost of repair would exceed the value of the item, a replacement will be provided. Replacements will be issued for the identical item, or the closest version of the item currently for sale.
REFUND
In cases where the item is not repaired and a replacement is unavailable, a refund in the form of a gift certificate will be provided.
WARRANTY INSTRUCTIONS
Please initiate your warranty/repair request by contacting our Customer Support team at info@sergeantusa.com. Please provide your proof of purchase showing you are the original retail purchaser of a brand-new SERGEANT product. Please also send pictures of the damage via email so that we can make an initial determination on our ability to repair the item.
SERGEANT will provide a Return Authorization # once the warranty is set up in our system. Please ensure this RA # is noted on the outside of your package when shipping the product back to us.
Please note that state law requires all items be in clean condition before we can evaluate them. This also helps us more quickly evaluate and repair your item. Items received in an excessively soiled state may be returned to you.

By purchasing any item sold by SERGEANT, the buyer expressly warrants that they are in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, ordinances, and/or regulations regarding the purchase, ownership, transportation, sale, and use of the item. The buyer expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SERGEANT for all claims resulting directly or indirectly from the purchase, ownership, transportation, sale, or use of the item in violation of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, ordinances, or regulations. It is the buyer’s responsibility to comply with all Federal, State and Local laws governing the sale of any items listed, illustrated, or sold.
